Pujya Gurudevshree Kanjiswami revealed to us the secrets of the hidden Adhyatma ( transcendental) from the texts of Acharya Kundkund and other Digamber Acharyas as propounded by Lord Mahavir Swami. Under Pu. Gurudevshree’s influence various mumukshu organisations are publicising and spreading Jain Dharma and Vitraagi Tattvagnaan ( dispassionate knowledge of truth) . These same organizations are running 14 religious educational schools at various levels in different cities. This activity will ensure that this Adhyatmic revolution will continue till the end of 5th era in time cycle.
An educational institution was started in presence of Pu. Gurudevshree at Songadh to instill true and best of Jain culture in children to propagate this rich traditions of lords (Teerthankars). The institute was named after revered Sh. Kundkundaacharyadev and Pu. Gurudevshree as Sh. Kundkund-Kahan Digamber Jain Vidyarthi Gruh. It started on 27-8-1957 (Bhadarvo Sud 3, V. S. 2013) in Songadh where along with worldly education, religious education was also imparted. On 16-6-2010 (Jeth Sud 5, V. S. 2066), under the aegis of Shri Anantrai A. Sheth of Mumbai; Shri Kahanjiswami Digamber Jain Vishranti Grah Trust, Mumbai reinstated this school as Kahan Shishu Vihar. Children at Kahan Shishu Vihar are taught Religious as well as Conventional Education. The religious education aspects of Kahan Shishu Vihar is managed by Shree Kundkund-Kahan Parmarthik Trust, Vile Parle, Mumbai.
The only purpose of this institution was to provide Vitraagi Jain Dharma Sanskaar (teachings) along with moral teachings. At present 78 students from various parts of India are obtaining a high level of conventional education along with religious education here. This institution has Class six to ten. PIOUS ENVIRONMENT
Pu. Gurudevshree Kanjiswami and Pu. Bahenshree lived in Songadh for about 45 years and revealed the secrets of Jain Dharma in his discourses. Students get daily darshan of the spectacular Jin Temples and the pious atmosphere of this pilgrimage (Teerth). They are also benefitted by pious daily schedule of Suvrnapuri. This pious environment is of great importance in building strong religious and moral foundation.

Conventional education is provided at the Shree Mahavir Jain Charitra Kalyan Ratnashram — School of Songadh. Shree Mahavir Jain Charitra Kalyan Ratnashram is 95 years old heritage educational institute situated on Songadh Station Road, Songadh, District – Bhavnagar, Gujarat. This is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. This institute is devoted to educating Jain community students. Famous and renowned dignitaries have graduated from this institute. This institute offers secondary and higher secondary education in English and Gujarati medium.
Students are also taught vocational and cultural skills along with their education curriculum. Time to time they are taken to visit different institutes and companies to develop their overall personalities. Picnics are organized as fun activities for the students. Kahan Shishu Vihar students get their education from this premium institute.
Conventional education may help students in this life…however religious education will definitely help students in this life as well as for eternal duration. In the five years of curriculum, students are taught more than 40 scriptures by best scholars. SCHOLARS SATSANG
Children are very inquisitive and have lots of questions on all the religious subjects. There curiosity and hunger for deeper knowledge is satisfied by their exposure to various scholars who visit Suvrnapuri regularly for atmasadhana. These scholars invariably visit Kahan Shishu Vihar to meet the children (the future scholars) and have rejoiceful discussions on various religious subjects.
PILGRIMAGE
Pilgrimages to Nirvaankshetra, Teerthkshetra and Atishaykshetra gives boost in our life towards serenity. It is an integral part of noble soul’s life. We understand that and inculcate these morals in students. Two pilgrimages are organized every year to Teerths (holy places) to familiarise them with rich culture of Jain Dharma.
